Climate change policy-making has become a thriving industry, for those advocating environmentalism and those opposed. The world of policy experts are grappling head-on with global warming and the implications of climate change for peoples around the world. Like the field of International Development, economists figure prominently in this field. Economic interests as much as environmental concern animate some policies, though you have to look below the surface rhetoric of expensive advertising.
We will examine policy recommendations in greater depth in a later post. Here we aim to draw attention to some of the wide-ranging studies and policy recommendations that have been produced.
